It might be difficult to be away from home over the holidays. Especially when one is confined to a hospital and is separated from friends and family. It’s even more difficult for children who require constant love, care, and attention.

We hope you had a wonderful New Year with your family and friends, dear readers. However, many people were forced to spend the holidays alone or far away from their loved ones.

Fortunately, there are decent people out there who wish to bring holiday happiness to those who need it the most. And we’d like to show you an example of it today!

Patients at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston’s Medical Center began enjoying Christmas a few days early this year. Hospitalized children were astonished by an unexpected visit from four golden retrievers! Elsa, Pinto, Pluto, and Bailey, the dogs, arrived in the hospital dressed pajamas a few days before New Year to brighten the children’s day.

The joy of the children could hardly be concealed. This goes to show that even a tiny gesture may have a great impact.
