In Romania, a hungry puppy recently spent a rainy day looking for food on the side of the road. The dog looked about for anything to eat because he was wet and terrified.
As luck would have it, a nice stranger came by at the ideal moment. She knew she had to assist when she saw the small puppy.
Denisa, our amazing veterinarian, was on her way home after visiting relatives, according to June Chapman of 1 Dog At A Time Rescue, who talked with The Dodo. On her way home, as she often does, “[she] stopped to feed the strays and spotted] a weak little pup so little and skinny she could see he was in critical need of care and his life [was] in danger from the rushing automobiles.”
The worried veterinarian jumped out of her car to try to assist the animal. He wasn’t really sure at first, but with some gentle coaxing, he placed his face in Denisa’s hands. She gave the dog the name Toby.

“Thankfully Little Toby is now safe at the clinic with our vet Denisa and will receive all the care and treatment he needs,” Chapman said. “He will be looked after in a foster home until he is old enough to travel to the UK.”
Toby, who is believed to be between one and two months old, will eventually find a family of his own. For the time being, he won’t ever have to be concerned about looking for scraps in the rain again.
