Woody, a cute and adorable fox that was raised on a fur farm, did not have a very good outcome. His adoptive father, Yaroslav, saved him in 2015. These kinds of farms are quite legal in Russia, but as soon as Yarolslav saw Woody, he vowed that nothing untoward would ever occur to him.
When the young guy got in touch with the farm’s owners, they agreed to let him take the animal in exchange for paying them what they thought they would get for its skin.
According to Bored Panda , Woody was initially somewhat withdrawn and did not come into contact with people; he was a bit stressed due to the changes in his environment, and after a week Yaroslav managed to interact with the shy fox and they started to form a friendship.
The fox spent his first month away from the fur farm in Yaroslav’s house to serve quarantine. To give him adequate space, the man built a kennel so that he could comfortably spend his time outdoors.
Woody is a mischievous fox who as soon as he got out of the kennel, he dug many tunnels and came out from time to time.
His father explains that, despite being very active, the fox would not be able to stay safe and live in the forest on his own, as he never learned the skills of a wild animal and lived on a fur farm since childhood.
Now that he consumes natural foods like meat, cottage cheese, fruits, and vegetables, Woody is a contented young man. His preferred food is a persimmon.
Given that foxes are not domesticated animals, it is very surprising to watch how content he is in his new role as a pet.
Taking care of Woody is not a simple undertaking, according to Yaroslav. He said it’s similar to having an aggressive and disobedient dog and a cat in one body. Despite his naughty nature, the guy would not trade the opportunity to live with the lovely fox for anything.
Without a doubt, Yaroslav’s actions changed not only his life, but also Woody’s, who is very happy in his new life, exploring and doing pranks that amuse many on the Internet.
