When a staff member arrived at work one morning in January, he discovered a cow tethered to a fence outside the Louisiana SPCA. When the shelter initially took him in, the poor puppy was terrified and didn’t appear to grasp what was going on.
The Louisiana SPCA’s NeNe Lewis told The Dodo, “He was quite nervous and would low growl when meeting new people.” “He would halt when he was given sweets and people would ‘baby speak’ [to] him. His response is understandable given that he was discovered tied to our fence.”
Cow began to settle into his life at the shelter as time passed. He’d been there for two months, and the staff had been working hard to locate him the perfect new family until they discovered something much better – the family he’d left behind.
Cow had a family that was seeking him when the shelter discovered him in March. He’d reportedly been kidnapped from them and ended up in the shelter, and they were overjoyed when they learned he’d been found.
Cow had become used to everyone at the shelter and was kind and sociable with everyone — but when he met his mother again, he reached a level of happiness that no one had ever seen from him before.
Lewis remarked, “Cow was ecstatic to see his family.” “He was leaping from the ledges and wagging his tail as we’d never seen before!” You could tell he was reunited with his family by his response when he spotted his mother!”
As soon as he saw his mom, Cow leaped into her arms and melted into a ball of wiggles and cuddles. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind that Cow was back with his people, and everyone was so thrilled that they were able to help make the reunion happen.
Cow had been apart from his family for months, but when he saw them again, it was as if no time had gone. He’s finally settled in with them at home, and he’s overjoyed to be back home.
